Advances in Mathematics (China) was founded in 1955 by the Chinese Mathematical Society, with Loo-Keng Hua (Hua Luo-geng) as its founding Editor-in-Chief. It is operated by the School of Mathematical Sciences (SMS) of Peking University. As a bimonthly journal, it publishes papers in Chinese with English abstract or vice versa in the following three catagories.
1)Survey Papers introducing and surveying important research areas or significant progresses in well-known problems in Mathematics, or reporting systematic important mathematical works achieved by Chinese schools.
2)Research Papers reporting important original results in pure and applied mathematics.
3)Open Problems suggesting meaningful mathematical research problems or conjectures.

Peking Mathematical Journal founded in 2018, is launched by Peking University. It is operated by Beijing International Center for Mathematical Research (BICMR) and Mathematical Sciences (SMS) of Peking University. The quarterly journal aims to publish research papers with broad scope which includes all core topics of pure mathematics. All contributions are required to meet high standards of quality and originality.
